Rebecca Baird,
RN
President, Chief Executive
OfficerMs. Baird is the founder and CEO
of Remington-Davis, Inc. She founded
Remington-Davis in 1992 and has
overseen its growth from a
two-person team operating within a
local hospital to a large staff with
studies at multiple area hospitals
and outpatient clinics. Ms. Baird’s
professional experience includes
over 18 years in the clinical trial
industry. She also serves on
multiple professional and community
service boards. In her spare time,
Ms. Baird enjoys gardening and
spending time with her
grandchildren.

Hamish Baird,
MBA
Vice PresidentMr. Baird joined Remington-Davis
in 1996 to establish the outpatient
and consumer products testing
operations. He has overseen the
conduct of more than 120 outpatient
trials. His responsibilities within
the organization include employee
management, marketing, and finance.
Prior to his tenure with
Remington-Davis, he was Assistant
Vice President at Showe Management
Corporation, a commercial real
estate development and management
company. Mr. Baird graduated from
Skidmore College with a degree in
biology and chemistry and holds a
Master of Business Administration
from Capital University. When not
working, Mr. Baird enjoys spending
time with family, playing ice
hockey, kayaking and reading.

Jennifer Botte,
RN, CCRC
Director of
Inpatient Services
Ms. Botte has been with
Remington-Davis since 2000 and
oversees all activities affiliated
with inpatient clinical trials.
During that time, Ms. Botte has
developed strong relationships with
all departments of our partnering
hospitals and has created a unique
system for subject identification.
Ms. Botte has a BS in Biology from
The Ohio State University and is a
licensed Registered Nurse. She
enjoys research as it allows her to
simultaneously utilize her nursing
and critical thinking skills. The
many positive outcomes that come
from following through onset of
acute illness to recovery make all
the hard work worth it. In her spare
time, Ms. Botte enjoys play dates
with her daughter, scrapbooking,
bike rides and gardening.

Laura Cooper,
BS
Director of
Outpatient Services
Ms. Cooper joined Remington-Davis
in 2008 and oversees the activities
affiliated with outpatient clinical
trials. Prior to her employ with
Remington-Davis, Ms. Cooper was
President of Cooper Clinical
Consulting, providing clinical
project management, monitoring and
auditing services to the
pharmaceutical industry. Ms. Cooper
has 12 years of experience in the
clinical research arena with both
pharmaceutical companies and
contract research organizations,
including Johnson and Johnson,
Kendle and Boehringer-Ingelheim.
Drawing from this depth of
experience, Ms. Cooper has
implemented processes to ensure high
quality and productivity in the
studies Remington-Davis conducts. In
her spare time, Ms. Cooper enjoys
the outdoors, traveling, spending
time with family and friends and
running with her very large dog.

Karli Beaver
Senior Outpatient CoordinatorMs. Beaver graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Human Ecology. Ms. Beaver joined Remington-Davis in 2010. As a Study Coordinator Ms. Beaver gains satisfaction knowing her work, once implemented, could have a positive impact on her community. Ms. Beaver’s passion for discovery is constantly motivated by her colleagues, as well as her dedicated patients. When not working Ms. Beaver enjoys yoga, cooking, and traveling.

Haley Bakies
Senior Regulatory Coordinator and Privacy Officer
Ms. Bakies conducts all Regulatory activities from study start up to closure since joining Remington-Davis in 2009. Ms. Bakies is a graduate of The Ohio State University, with a B.A. in Psychology. Ms. Bakies takes pride in her growing knowledge of the industry and enjoys the impact research may have towards improving lives. In her spare time, Ms. Bakies enjoys reading, spending time with friends and volunteering.

Ms. Hardin holds a B.A. in
Zoology from Miami University. Ms.
Hardin joined Remington-Davis in
2010. As a Study Coordinator Krista
takes pride in being part of a team
whose goal is to improve modern
patient care. When not working Ms.
Hardin enjoys watching movies,
listening to music, and reading. |

David Cook, BS
Mr. Cook earned a degree in Molecular Genetics from The Ohio State University. Mr. Cook joined Remington-Davis in 2011. As a Study Coordinator, Mr.Cook enjoys interacting with patients and observing first-hand the impact that new medications may have on the community. In his spare time, Mr. Cook enjoys playing guitar, reading and playing soccer.

Megan Lewis
Ms. Lewis joined Remington-Davis in 2011 as an Administrative Research Assistant. Ms. Lewis is currently studying for a degree in Business Management. Ms. Lewis takes pleasure in meeting and interacting patients. When not working, Ms. Lewis enjoys watching sports, spending time with her family and working out.

Ms. Lee joined Remington-Davis in
2010 and is a Certified Nurse
Practitioner from The Ohio State
University. Playing a role in both
inpatient and outpatient studies,
Ms. Lee enjoys combining exciting
new research with patient contact
and care. When not working, Ms. Lee
enjoys running, reading, and
learning to knit.

Ms. Sberna holds a B.A. in
Biochemistry from Miami University
and obtained her EMT basic
licensure. Since joining
Remington-Davis in 2010, Ms. Sberna
takes pleasure in meeting new

their lives. When not working, Ms.
Sberna enjoys photography, music,
reading and running.
